Diagnostics – simply a drawer test?

The diagnosis „Rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament“This condition can usually be diagnosed during a clinical orthopedic examination. It reveals an abnormal displacement of the knee joint between the femur and tibia. The result of this examination is described as a "positive" diagnosis. Drawer test and Tibial compression test“This is referred to as "inflammation of the cruciate ligament." In unclear cases, i.e., when the knee joint is clinically stable but a cruciate ligament tear is still suspected, imaging procedures are used for a definitive diagnosis. These include X-rays, Computed tomography (CT) and arthroscopy (examination of the knee joint).

Drawer test is often supplemented by a CT scan.
